Moving? Move Your House Instead

A historic home is moved - by truck and boat - about 100 miles to Vancouver Island.

Who says summer vacations are only for people? This home took a lovely little jaunt this week, after a local family saved it from demolition. The Vancouver house was lifted off its foundations and transported by truck to the Fraser River. It continued on via sea barge, finishing up near Comox on Vancouver island.
