Americans are, to put it mildly, not the most globally aware people. Their inability to place foreign nations or even the details of their own country on a map is both an unfortunate rumor and a sad reality.
But are Americans who live in big, globally oriented cities like New York, L.A., Chicago, or Boston more globally aware than their counterparts elsewhere?
