The manhunt for the second suspect of the Boston Marathon bombing has encompassed the entire Boston metro area. Here are the key spots:
- Much of the action last night took place in Cambridge, across the river from the bombings. The two suspects allegedly had an apartment there. In Cambridge, they robbed a 7-11 and committed a carjacking. An MIT security officer was also killed on MIT's campus.
- The suspects then allegedly moved west to the suburb of Watertown, where police exchanged gunfire and killed one of the suspects. Police are now combing the neighborhood for the second suspect. WBUR, Boston's public radio station, is describing the scene in Watertown as "paramilitary-like."
- This morning, an Amtrak train was stopped near Norwalk, Connecticut, about 170 miles south of Boston. Police are searching for a third person of interest on board.
