By a certain age, both men and women enjoy when people believe them to be younger than they are.
But after death?
Visitors to the Manhattan grave site of Ed Koch, the mayor of New York City during the rough-and-tumble 1980s who died this February, might think him a much younger man. The gravestone mistakenly says Koch was born in 1942, rather than 1924. Koch had actually overseen the stone's design before his death, leaving just one element unfinished: the dates.
But then again, Koch always loved his publicity....
