The official Pacific hurricane season began Sunday, and right on schedule here’s a disturbance off the Mexican coast:

The piddling low-pressure has “limited and disorganized” rain activity, according to the National Hurricane Center, and a zero-percent chance of significant growth due to “unfavorable environmental conditions.” But with a potentially active Atlantic hurricane season in the pipeline, this year’s cyclones might not all be this worry-free.
