Deron Lovaas

Deron Lovaas, director of state/federal policy and practice for NRDC’s Urban Solutions Group, is an expert on energy efficiency, transportation infrastructure, and climate change, among other issues. Prior to joining NRDC in 2001, Deron worked for the National Wildlife Federation, Maryland’s Department of Environment, Zero Population Growth, and the Sierra Club, where he directed a national campaign to reduce suburban sprawl.
