"Placemaking" for felines.

For the past several years, German design firm Goldtatze has been transforming regular rooms into fancy cat playgrounds. The site-specific installations include perches, hammocks, bridges, and scratching posts. According to the company’s website, all of the creations are handmade; the scratching posts are even made of real tree branches.
