Balkonzept

It comes complete with a flower box to look at while you work.

Working from home can require a bit of a change of scenery every so often. If you have a balcony or patio at home, try "Balkonzept," a desk that hooks over any balcony railing up to 65 mm wide. The "new furnishing concept for small balconies" offers a work space of 60-by-40 centimeters and even includes an integrated flower box to spruce up your balcony even more. Designed by Berlin-based designer Michael Hilgers, the desk is made of weatherproof, recyclable plastic and comes in several colors, including blue, yellow, red, and black. As the product description helpfully points out, for those who aren't such green thumbs, the flower box also makes a great ice bucket for a little wine while you work.

Balkonzept, € 128 at rephormhaus. Free shipping within the EU. For non-EU buyers, the desk is significantly pricier: € 138 plus another 49 in shipping.
